1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the mask traceability service, run by Global Respiratory Safety Ltd (company number [company number], [registered address]). By registering a mask or signing in as a company user you agree to them. How we use your information is explained in the privacy notice.

2. What the service is, and what it is not

• The service helps you keep a record of your mask, fit test, filters and checks and shows whether dates are in or out of date.
• It is an aid, not a safety guarantee. "In date" means the dates recorded say so. It does not mean the mask or filter is in good condition or suitable for your task.
• Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use, your training, and your employer's safety rules. Do not use a mask that is damaged, worn or past its shelf expiry date, whatever the service shows.
• It does not replace a proper fit test, a thorough examination by a competent person, or advice from your employer's safety adviser.
• It is not a medical service and is not a certified safety product.

3. Your account and what you add

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Only register a mask that is yours or that you are allowed to register.
• Only upload your own fit test certificate or one you have permission to upload. Do not upload medical or health information.
• Company users must only add real colleagues, keep passwords and exported spreadsheets secure, and use people's information only for health and safety purposes. You are responsible for your company's copy of the data once you have it.
• Do not try to access other people's records, interfere with the service or use it for anything unlawful.

4. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted or error free. We may change or stop parts of it. Keep your own copy of anything important, such as your original certificate.

5. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss caused by you relying on the service instead of the manufacturer's instructions, your training or your employer's checks, or for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen. 6. Ending your use

You can release a mask or ask us to delete your information at any time (see the privacy notice). We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

7. Ownership

The service and its design belong to us or our licensors. Brand names, logos and product pictures belong to the relevant manufacturer. Your own records remain yours.

8. Changes and the law

We may update these terms and will change the date above. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
